MANSOON: A TRUE RAIN OF BEAUTIFUL WORDS
Author: Subin Bhattarai
Publisher: Fineprint Publication
Category: Fiction,Novel
Language: Nepali
Sundar and Shuban, his two best friends, begin to look at
the girls throughout his marriage. Meanwhile, in the food line, Shuban notices
a simple girl wearing a simple sari with no jewelry. She seems to be a teacher.
At the wedding, he is just concerned with the girl and
watches her, but then, he does not see her. He wishes to speak with her but is
unable to do so. He expects they will meet the next day at the party.
Fortunately, she returns at the party the following day. He sees her on a constant
schedule.
Unfortunately, his friend Sundar was also fixated on her, which irritated Shuban. After a few minutes, she approaches him and asks,
"Where are you from?"
“Kathmandu.”
“I didn’t ask the place. I said from which side are you
from: bride or bridegroom?”
“From the
bridegroom's side.”
“Do you remember who I am?”
“Are you sure?” He was tense.
“Do you remember who I am?”
“Not at all.”
They continued their conversation after this. She didn't
tell him her name when he asked. About the fact that she did not say her name,
he did and left the scene. On the road, he felt bad for not knowing her name.
He wished he should have looked her up on the internet.
When he reached Home, he found that She had given him a friend request on Facebook the same day.
Monsoon was her name, and he approved her friend request. They then began to
interact. He had begun to fall in love with her. The issue with her was that
she was moody. When she wants to talk, she talks; when she isn't comfortable,
she ignores. Furthermore, when she did not answer the phone, he used to be
angry.
The plot is straightforward, and the grammar is straightforward. Furthermore, the plot is similar to seeing a movie. Furthermore, Rameshwor, Sundar, and Shuban's friendship is normal. The point, ego, and conflict can be relevant to modern friendship. Falling in love with the same girl, being rejected by the same girl, and with the ego not speaking with best friends is completely normal and has been shown well.
The plot is a straightforward love tale. It inspires the
readers' interest in what will happen next. Why was Monsoon acting so
strangely? Why does she dislike Shuban while still loving him? This excites
one's interest. More importantly, will Shuban always love her despite her
behavior?
Rameshwor and Sundar are two of my favorite characters. They are humorous, and they make the readers chuckle. Shuban's character exemplifies the craziness of today's youth. With Monsoon, he can't stay angry for long. He adores her and wishes to be with her at all times. Around the same time, her actions checks him from time to time. Monsoon, on the other hand, is moody. She is a perplexed and depressed character. She can be both joyful and depressed at the same time. A reader can dislike her for her actions: why was she acting in such a way? Why didn't she embrace Shuban's affection, who was really there for her? Its awesome except author left the book in mystery. Finally, the book should be read because of the plot, vocabulary, and characters.
